Research on Group Pile Settlement under Vertical Load Considering Time Effect

The coupled method of Biot consolidation theory and modified Kommala-huang model is employed in this paper to perform a theoretical analysis on pile raft foundation.The Biot consolidation theory is used to simulate the soil consolidation and the modified Kommala-huang model to simulate the soil rheology;the deformation process of pile raft foundation under longtime loads is fully presented.Through the analysis of increasing and dissipation of soil pore pressure,settlement with time,and variation of pile profile frictional resistance,some useful conclusions are drawn.
