Research on the Simulation Examination About GPR Detection of Grouting Material Behind Shield Tunnel Segment

In recent years,there are some problems in the grouting behind the lining of shield tunnel.In this paper,in case of some detected objects in the gap behind shield tunnel segments,the propagation rule of the electromagnetic wave has been summed up through a lot of simulation examinations about GPR(Ground Penetrating Radar) detection of grouting material behind shield tunnel segments.Combining simulation examination results with two-dimension direct-deducetion results based on radial tracing theory,the distribution of the grouting material can be identified accurately.This study shows that the profile of GPR detection can be affected evidently by three factors the curing period,distribution of gaps and the grouting material.Meanwhile,this simulation examination is important to interpret grouting effect behind shield tunnel segments more perfectly for GPR.
