Optimizing Analysis for Construction Schemes of Shallow Multi-Arch Loess Tunnel

With the merits in road line and entrance location choosing,the multi-arch tunnel always be adopted in the construction of short tunnel compared with separated two single tunnels.The Lishi tunnel in Lishi city of Shanxi Province is the first multi-arch loess tunnel.Considering the actual condition of this tunnel,several key mechanical problems involved in the construction of the tunnel have been studied: The comparison of three-heading construction method and benching tunneling method,and the construction sequence of the two tunnels is carried out.Based on the numerical simulation,it can be concluded that the three heading construction method with the tunnel close to the mountain tunneled first should be chosen in the construction of the multi-arch loess tunnel.
