Application and Problem of FEM Back Analysis from Displacement and Instability in Cutting Slope

Back-analysis is a good method to get parameter of rocks and soils.A research on the method of back analysis parameter for rock is made.From the angle of dynamic design and information construction,a FEM displacement back analysis method which is based on the monitor information is found in this paper.Back analysis and normal analysis is combined for prediction.A constitutive model is very important part for parameter back analysis.A fitting constitutive model can make it easily ascertain the parameter.The Duncan-Chang constitutive model is used in cutting slope engineering in this paper.Based on the displacement,the cohesion and the angle of friction of the model are back analyzed,and then the result is inputted to the normal model to predict the displacement of next stage.These provided base for the engineering prediction.
