Research on the Method for Selecting Design Parameters of Dyke Based on MonteCarlo Statistic Technique

This paper focused on the study of the method for selecting design parameters of geotechnical engineering by Monte-Carlo Statistic Technique.The result shows that the Monte-Carlo statistic technique is proper for rational selecting the physical parameters of soil and rock for geotechnical works.The problems of factitious reduction of the parameter value and the enlargement of investment can be avoided effectively.
