Development of Research of Connectivity Rate of Discontinuities in Rock Mass and Application

The research of connectivity rate of discontinuity in rock mass is always one of the difficulties in the field of rock mechanics.Some scholars have put forward several methods to confirm the connectivity rate.But many of them may lead to quite big error,and they are not practical.The formula of broad sense H—H and the method based on network simulation are excellent methods emerged in recent years.The fitness and validity of all these methods to calculate connectivity rate are recounted and commented on in this text.The bandwidth projection method based on network simulation is used to calculate the connectivity rate for one example.At last,the tendency of the research of discontinuity in rock mash is prospected.
