Study on Tunnel Lining Service-life Prediction

Service-life prediction of the structures may be one of the focuses in durability study field.In this paper,different criteria including cover crack limitation and bearing capacity are put forward to measure the life-span terminal of structures.Based on these standards,different life-span results can be obtained.Then the smaller of them could be considered as the durability of the structure. Furthermore,a prediction of service life for subsea tunnel is given as an example to explain this method.From the example,a conclusion can be drawn that this method is feasible and can serve as the reference in similar study.
