Research on Displacement of Earth Surface Caused by Tunnel Construction

For the safety and normal usage of the city ground building,therefore it is extremely important to estimate the earth surface movement and displacement caused by tunnel construction.Without consideration of the coupling reaction of working performance with each other,the random material theory gives fine outcomes by means of linear superimposition method.Taking irregular soil element volumetric loss in practical engineering into consideration,the authors introduce the adaptable method by isoparametric transforming the arbitrary form of soil loss,which enlarges the application field of the random material theory.For the ground surface displacement by the construction with pumping groundwater in well,the study result shows that with the random material theory a fine result coincides with the data measured at spot can be obtained.
