Calculation Method of Effective Length of Bolt Support and Ultimate Pullout Force of Prestressed Cable

Based on Mindlin's solution of displacement,the equation of effective length of bolt support has been derived.Some factors affecting the effective length are analyzed.According to the three rupture shapes of prestressed cable,different failure mechanisms are put forward with the failure induced by radial dilation,shear failure and both of them in turn.The equation for each failure mode is derived.Compared with experimental result,the calculation value is in good agreement with it.
