Optimization of Complex Underground Cavity Group Excavation Project

An underground cavity group has a large cross-section main cavity and many branch cavities with short intervals and various cross-sections.In view of branch cavities excavation considering its influence on the main cavity enclosing rock displacement and structure loading,this thesis numerically models three methods of branch cavities excavation by FLAC,analyzes the variation feature of enclosing rock circumjacent displacement,plastic zone and junction liner inner stress caused by three excavation methods,and a rational one is recommended.Lastly,a conclusion has been gained to offer reference for homogeneous complex cavity group excavation.
