Numerical Simulation of Fire in Double Tube Road Tunnel with Transverse Alleyways

When the tunnel is on fire,the air flow state is very complex,which is a flow phenomenon with intense exothermic chemical reactions and includes fluxion,heat transfer,mass transfer,chemical reaction and interactions between them.The actual combustion process is a three-dimensional unsteady turbulent process.In this paper based on the three-dimensional numerical simulation method,the continuity equations,momentum equations,energy equations and species equations are used to describe the air flow state.The most widely used and most successful turbulence modal equation affected by the buoyancy among the turbulence viscosity models is adopted in this paper.By simulating different fire conditions in an actual tunnel and analyzing the velocity and temperature field,the tunnel fire characteristics and smoke development laws can be understand comprehensively.So,the optimum ventilation plan to control fire smoke is raised and the theoretical basis is provided to determine the time and means to escape.
