Study on Rational Scope of Pre-Reiforcement at Starting Position for Shield Excavation

For shield excavation the scope of reinforcement is determined either in vertical direction along the tunnel or in radial direction at its starting position.Aiming at the determination of the scope of vertical and radial reinforcement,this study adopts three-dimensional finite differential program to make analysis of initial excavating of different reinforcement scopes based on theoretical analysis and case study.First,the scope of reinforcement is defined roughly according to disruption field,stress field and displacement field simulated in initial excavating without pre-reinforcement,based on engineering experiences and theoretical analysis.Then,by simulating of initial excavating for enlarged and narrowed scope,a numerical solution of reasonable reinforcement scope is determined according to disruption field,stress field and displacement field.At last,the relationship between scope and effect of reinforcement is obtained,and the function curve is derived,which are expected to serve as reference for pre-reinforcement scope of similar initial field projects and provide perspectives for initial field pre-reinforcement projects.
