Study of Deformation-damage and Acoustic Emission Character of Coalrock under Uniaxial Compression

Coalrock is a heterogeneous medium.Under exterior load,the microdefect's formation,expansion and interaction will decide coalrock's macroscopic deformation and damage character.In order to explain coalrock's deformation and damage rules under the load and demonstrate coalrock's disaster dynamic evolutionary process and mechanism,the deformation-damage and acoustic emission character of coalrock under uniaxial compression was studied.The results demonstrated that:1) the complete stress-strain curve of coal rock under uniaxial compression could be divided into four parts and each phase's acoustic emission character is different and the coalrock's acoustic emission character is different from that of the general rock;2) the coalrock's acoustic emission character can demonstrate it's deformation and damage evolutionary charater.
