Numerical Simulation on PBA Job Practice of Metro Station

Based on numerical computing of constructing process of metro station using FLAC—a program for simulating the whole procedure of underground engineering,a new excavation job practice—PBA method of metro station construction is studied in this paper.Then,the laws of strata disturbing induced by excavation using PBA,transitions and changes of internal forces in metro station structures and displacements of metro station structures after the construction procedure are studied and some conclusions are drawn:(1)the excavation of upper layer by PBA method should be emphasized;(2)the capability of load-bearing of arch should be emphasized.These conclusions can provide references for design and construction of metro.
