Application of TSP203 Advanced Prediction to Tunnel in Karst Areas

The unexpected geological disaster such as Karst,fault,underground river,water and slurry gushes often happened in karst area during construction of a tunnel,which bring momentous disaster and unestimated eco- nomic loss to construction.The precise and immediate forecast in advance about the development of karst has an im- portant theoretical significance and practical value in engineering.TSP advanced geological forecast system has more advantage than other methods in preciseness,forecasted distance and feasibility.In this paper,TSP203 plus system is used to forecast the cave in left inlet of the Qiyueshan tunnel.In contrast with the actual excavation of cave,the practicality,feasibility and important role of this system to construction is analyzed.
