Analysis on Pull of Soil Nail at Convex Location of Composite Soil Nailing Wall

Stability of convex location is the lowest in composite soil nailing wall.Due to the complexity of pull of soil nail at convex location,usually the convex location was simplified as central section of composite soil nailing wall for analysis on pull of soil nail,and the analysis result was unsafe.In this paper the behavior of pulls of soil nails at convex location was analysed accordingly by three-dimension elasto-plastic FEM.The results show that the soil nails with maximum pull are at longer side and near convex location,and corresponding area is the most dangerous one in composite soil nailing wall.
