Water and Soil Interaction in Variation of Groundwater Biological Field

Groundwater is one of the most active factors in city geological environment,and also the most important outer geological power.Long time water-soil interaction not only has influence on the components of both water and soil but also on their properties.The impact of groundwater on soil includes mainly four kinds of function,namely: physical function,chemical action,mechanical function and biological function,which is called as the impact of four fields of groundwater variation.Water-soil interaction means the variation of micro-mini scale structure of soil due to variation of four fields,which has influence on the macroscopical mechanical property of the soil,and produces a series of geological calamities and environmental effects.The paper discusses the impact of biological field variation of groundwater on soil structure and nature.Finally it puts forward the focal point,methods and the further direction of the research in this field.
