Influence of Micro Parameters of Sandy Soil on Its Macro Properties

Based on the theory of Particle Flow Code(PFC),the biaxial test of sandy soil are simulated.Refer- ring to research achievements,in this paper with improving particle shape and boundary condition,instead of circle par- ticle rigid wall boundary irregular particle and flexible particle boundary are used.The variation rules of macro proper- ties of the sand sample with micro parameters,such as particle size,friction coefficient and porosity of particle,are studied.Different macro properties corresponding to the particle parameters are studied to acquire the quantitative rela- tion between micro parameters and macro properties.The results are valuable for developing soil constitutive models.
