Relationship between Stability of Rock Bedded Slope with Moderate Dip Angle and Slope Setting Rate

ZHANG Tian-you(Geological Team No.607,Chongqing Geological Survey Bureau,Chongqing 400053,China)
During engineering construction it is common to form rock bedded slope in slope excavation. For the steep slope it is reasonable and economical to have bedded slope formation, but for slope with moderate dip angle in case of impossible bedded slope setting and the slope setting with dip angle steeper than that of rock bed or potential angle of sliding face for enhancing the slope stability, its suitability is related to slope angle and potential angle of sliding face.In this paper, this problem is discussed.
