The Reliability Analysis of Slope Stability Based on ANSYS Probability Design System

Based on the ANSYS probability design system,the method of reliability analysis of slope stability is proposed.Through a typical slope project example,the reliability analysis to the stability of a slope with many kinds of random variables is presented by the use of Monte-Carlo law.Compared with the traditional determinate safety coefficients,the reliability,failure probability and othe indexes of slope obtained by above method under certain target control value are more objective and reasonable.The analysis results can be plotted on line in a clear and vivid way,so the efficiency of assessment is increased and can be used in company with traditional determinate safety coefficient method.
