Research on Application of Comprehensive Advanced Prediction for Karst Tunnels

Geological disaster forecast of karst tunnels is an important technical support to safe and fast tunnel constructions.Based on the engineering background of Qiyue Mountain Tunnel in the west section of Hu-Rong Highway,through geological survey and analysis,and using Tunnel Seismic Prediction method,ground penetrating radar,an advanced drilling geological prediction detection was done on the area of YK326+790~YK329+810,and in front of the tunnel face,karst development area and lithology changes belt have been essentially detected.A scientific basis of timely treatment plans are provided.
