Design of Track Panel Shaft in Metro Tunneling Interval

During metro construction a track laying out base should be set up and accordingly,a track panel shaft should be set up in the mining interval,such shaft has deep depth and large cross section without lateral support in the middle.These factors make the track panel shaft design difficult.This paper introduced design scheme of track panel shaft and enclosure of foundation pit based on the design and practice of track panel shaft in the interval from West Sports Station to Pearl River City Station of Guangzhou Metro Line No.3.This can serve as reference to the similar projects in the future.
