Classification of Tunnel Resisting Water Pressure and its Key Technologies

The tunnel,whose lining mainly resists water pressure with specific drainage,is defined as Tunnel Resisting Water Pressure(TRWP) and classified according to its surrounding rock,internal water pressure,usage,formation of external water pressure,treatment of water pressure,structure,water proof,design method,continuous character of geological media and proximity degree between rock and lining.Meanwhile,several key technological problems including mechanism and distribution law of water load on lining,advancing geological conditions prediction,erosion of surrounding rock caused by drainage,stability of cracked surrounding rock under high water pressure,interaction among high water–surrounding rock-grouted rock-lining and their mechanism,construction method under high water pressure,together with the monitoring of water pressure on lining are discussed,which will provide a new thought for the plan,survey,design and construction of TRWP in China.
