Application of Numerical Simulation in the Disaster Risk Assessment of the Construction Sites

Aiming at the fact that the traditional method of geological hazard assessment has much disadvantages in treating complicated geological conditions,especially in case of construction slop treatment,in this paper,a new method of geological hazard assessment is discussed.Based on the concrete engineering case,the stress and displacement field of rock and soil body under natural state and the process of construction are simulated by use of FLAC3D software,to analyze the main factors of slop deformation and failure,the result is compared with that of the commonly used method in evaluation of geological disaster risk.After putting the two results into field data,we found that the method of numerical simulation has higher accuracy in evaluating the geological disaster risk of construction field under complicated geological conditions;it is worth to be widely used.
