Security Analyses of Underground Rock Tunnel Crossing under the Existing High Buildings

Based on underground tunnel crossing under existing buildings in a city,considering the residual safety of existing buildings,the risk control index and standard for buildings was established when the tunnel passed under the bottom of existing buildings.According to the actual ground conditions,equivalent stiffness of the buildings and equivalent load,the center cross diagram method(CRD),excavation footage,etc,a FLAC~(3D) numerical calculation model was established,to simulate the whole process of the underground tunnel work crossing under existing buildings,and to predictively analyze the characteristics of existing buildings' settlement and inclination.Analysis results showed that the maximum settlement value of tunnel vaults was 4.94 mm induced by the excavation of the 4th pilot tunnel,the maximum value of buildings' basement settlement and buildings' inclination could meet the control standards.,in addition,the embedded depth of pile wasn' t within the influence scope of geotechnical plastic zone influenced by tunnel excavation.
