Relationship Between Regional Geological Tectonic Feature and In-Situ Stress Field Distribution in Norhtern Tianshan Mountain Mining Areas

According to the problem of complicated geological tectonic feature and the great discreteness of insitu field stress distribution in northern Tianshan mountain area,the methods of regional geological tectonic analysis and in-situ field stress measurement were both used to study the distribution rule of stress in northern Tianshan mining area. It's found that the in-situ field style of Sikeshu coal mine belongs to that of σH σh σv and the direction of horizontal principal stress is NNE,the same as maximum principal stress of regional tectonic field. High regional bearing stress and the unreasonable direction angle between regional principal stress and roadway trends are both the main reason for intense preparatory workings strata behaviors at Sikeshu coal mine. Based on the characteristics of insitu field stress distribution and the mine development situation,the axis of preparation roadway for subsequent working face is NNE16. 3°,which makes the strata control under complex tectonic conditions more scientific and reliable.
