Application of System Enginnering for Analysis of Stability of Tunnel Surrounding Rock

Based on complexity and fuzziness of tunnel engineering, by eliminating theboundaries between system engineering and rock mechanics, mathematics, the stability oftunnel surrounding rock was analysed by combination of system engineering with the theoryand method of rock mechanics, guided by the principles and methods of system engineering.To keep the stability of the system, an effective automatic regulation and control wasoverall carried out during the whole process, the optimum target of control was gainedthrough optimum approach.[
