Design of Temperature Process Control System Based on Single-Chip Microcomputer

It is briefly introduced a single-chip based controlling system design which could regulate the temperature of electrothermal furnace automatically in this article.The temperature related information collected by data acquisition circuit would first feedback to the host circuit.According to the practical requirements,the signal would then input into the executive circuit of controlling in order to adjust the furnace temperature appropriately.In addition,keyboard circuit and display circuit are applied to the system.It is compared to various solutions and deductions,the optimal main controller,keyboard circuit and display circuit are chosen.Also,the detailed hardware design and software programming are given in this paper.This system is constructed on the AT89C51 single-chip controller which produced by ATMEL company in US.With the cooperation of signal acquisition unit XTR101,and other external controlling units such as MC14528,TEL117,the collection of the furnace temperature and correspondingly feedback regulations are achieved successfully.This circuit is featured as simple,easy-install,low-cost and stable.It is high cost-effective and particularly well suited in applications whose requirements are not very rigorous.
