The Environmental Effect and Ecological Construction of the Regional Periglacial Wetlands in China

Ji Zhongchun(Changchun Institute of Geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences 130021)  
The wetlands are an ecosystems which have an important impact on the periglacial region. This paper discusses the distribution, genesis, development, environmental effect and ecological construction of wetlands in periglacial region. Especially, the environmental effect of wetlands has an important significance for the regional ecological balance and economic sustainable development in the periglacial region.
