Analysis of the Agriculture Index Temperature Based on DEM——A Case Study in Hedong Region of Gansu Province

Based on the air temperature data from 61 meteorological observation stations in Hedong region of Gansu province in the latest 30 years (1971—2000),the cumulative temperatures above 0 ℃ and 10 ℃ have been calculated. The geographic information system (GIS) was used to rasterize the cumulative temperature data. The results showed that the cumulative temperature above 0℃ and the active and effective cumulative temperature above 10 ℃ have significant correlation with longitude and altitude. This indicated that the relative error is minor between predicted and observed cumulative temperatures. The space distribution of the rastering cumulative temperature above 0 ℃ and the active and effective cumulative temperature above 10 ℃ could make fine geographical distinctions as compared with the observed cumulative temperature. This enormous distinction provides favorable conditions for diversity of agriculture structure. The thermal resource increase due to climate warming,together with precipitation increase,has an effect on the agriculture.
