3D RIGID-PLASTIC FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ONFORWARD TUBE-SPINNING

A finite element model which fits well with the real process of tube spinning is built and the process of forward tube spinning is simulated by 3D ripid plastic FEM in this paper.The distributions of stress and strain rate are obtained.The results can well interpret these appearances of enlarging and reducing of diameter as well as reflection of generatrices and rise etc.The varying of the working force in the process of forward tube spinning is evaluated and it agrees with the experimental results well.
