Experimental study of fracture mechanism of copper subjected to explosive load

Based on the SEM dynamic fractographs of copper cylinders damaged by inner explosive loadings, the brittle behavior of copper under the condition of high strain rate was found, and the dynamic rupture mechanism of copper was drawn, which provide important foundations for investigating the dynamic properties of metals under high-speed impact.
