Studies on dispersion method of ultrafine powder during identification of grain size by laser size detector

The dispersion method of ultrafine powder in dispersants was studied when the grain size distribution of samples was to be identified by laser size detector. The experimental results show that the ultrasonic power affects the identifying results; and after some surfactant and sodium metaphosphate being added into water, the grain size of organic ultrafine powder can be well identified, which mainly is attributed to the interfacial tension decreasing and the solid energy changing.
