Study of forgeability of dispersion-strengthened copper material with high strength and high conductivity

The forgeability of dispersion-strengthened copper material with high strength and high conductivity is studied. The influences of density,hitting-energy , stress state ,height/diameter ratio on the forgeability of the material are researched. It shows that dispersion-strengthened copper can be forged by selecting favorable process conditions, and its working properties can be improved.
