Repair for recocking latch of breech by SHS reactive flame spraying Al_2O_3 ceramic coatings

In order to study the wear failure mechanism of recocking latch of breech,experimental researches,including tech-nology parameters,microstructure,component,interface structure and wear performance,were given to repair recocking la-tch of breech by SHS reactive spraying Al2O3 ceramic coatings.Results showed that the coatings were composed of Al2O3 cera-mics phase,Al2Cu3 intermetallic compound phase,Cu and Cu2O phases.All the particles mutually embedded with each other and paralleled the substrate with the strip configuration.Ni-Al bottom,acted as a medium layer,played a role of metallurgic adhesion between the substrate and the bottom.Meanwhile,there was mechanical and metallurgic adhesion between bottom and coatings,and the binding strength was as high as 19.8 MPa.The wear resistance of the coatings was better than that of being repaired by building-up welding,and the wear weight loss was 3.9×10-10 g/(kg r min).
