Evaluation and characterization of fractographs for rare earth-zirconium alloy

XU Hong-fei(Ningbo Branch of China Academy of Ordnance Science,Yantai 264003,China)  
The feature of fracture morphology and microdefect has been evaluated and characterized for the rare earth-zirconium alloy.The results show that the crack and the hole are the primary microdefect of fracture.And the intergranular morphology,the polygonal morphology and the fan-shaped cleavage morphology are the main fracture morphologies.
