Study on multi-element permeation of brass

DONG Shi-zhi,YANG Fang,LI Zhi-chao (Liaoning Technical and Engineering University,Fuxin 123000,China)  
In this paper,powder aluminized and Al-Mn-Fe multi-element permeation have been carried on brass.The hardness,the corrosion resistance and the friction wear properties were studied on penetrated brass.The experiment results show that after multi-element penetration,the hardness,abrasive resistance and corrosion resistance have been greatly improved with new compounds forming.The properties of brass after multi-element penetration were superior to that of powder aluminized.
