Processing optimization of SrAl_2O_4:Eu~(2+),Dy~(3+) aluminate long persistence phosphors synthesized by combustion synthesis method

SrAl2O4:Eu2+,Dy3+long persistence phosphors were synthesized by combustion synthesis.The synthesizing technology was optimized by means of orthogonal experiment design method.The effect of technological parameters on product′s luminescence performance was studied.The results show that the most important factor impacting on the materials luminescence property is the content of carbamide,then the temperature and the reduction method.The performance enhances at beginning as the content of carbamide increasing,but descends later,and can be improved by increasing the temperature.Spectral analysis reveals that the target material exhibits broadband peaks in both excitation and emission spectra in which the main excitation peak locates at around 368 nm,and the main emission peak around 514 nm.XRD analysis demonstrates that the structure of obtained SrAl2O4 belongs to monoclinic system.SEM characterization shows that the grain has size between 0.3~1 μm along with fine crystal integrity,so that it has excellent luminescence performance.
