Research progress in rolling technology and process for magnesium alloy sheets

The effect of rolling process parameters and rolling technologies on microstructure,mechanical properties and formability of magnesium alloy sheets was introduced.The principles,features and applications of conventional rolling and the latest rolling technologies such as TRC,AR,ECAR,ARB and CR were mainly demonstrated.Also,the related grain refinement mechanism and texture evolution were analyzed.Finally,all above rolling technologies were assessed,existing problems and future directions of research were pointed out.
