Mullite has low thermal expansion coefficient.ZrO2-toughened ZTM composite has been widely used at high-temperature because of its lower thermal stress. In the current experiment,Al2TiO5 composition,which has lower thermal expansion coefficient,was added to the ceramics in order to improve its thermal shock-resistance..
