TECHNOLOGY OF MICROARC OXIDATION ON ALUMINIUM MATRIX COMPOSITES SURFACE

Ceramic layer on Aluminium matrix composites is formed by microarc oxidation, the cross-sectional morphology and thickness of the layer are investigated, the results show that ceramic coating consisted of two layers, the porous upper one is 50μm, and the dense lower one is 100μm.
