EFFECT PORE RATE OF W Ni Cu HEAVY ALLOYS ON DYNAMIC MECHANICAL PROPERTIES

The influence of tungsten content of W Ni Cu heavy alloys and the rate of cooling from the sintering temperature on the microstructure and the dynamic mechanical properties(ε=10 3~10 4s -1 )has been studied.The amount of pore increased and the diameter of pore got small with increase of tungsten content.Dynamic tensile strength descended but compressive strength had little change when tungsten content increased.Slower the rate of cooling from sintering temperature for the same constituent was,smaller slightly the amount of pore and larger the diameter of pore was.Thereby dynamic tensile strength went down greatly,and dynamic compressive strength degraded also.
