NEW PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES OF HIGH STRENGTH AND HIGH CONDUCT ELECTRICITY COPPER MATRIX COMPOSITES

Some new production techiques of particulates reinforced high strength and high conduct electricity copper matrix composites are introduced in this paper. Basic priniciples, feature and property about these processings, such as vacuum compocast process, solid-liquid direct reaction, mixalloy process, reaction spray depositon are analysed. In the meantime, some traditional techniques, such as internal oxidation, coprecipitation and mechnical mixing are reviewed in the paper. The mert is and demertis of various techniques are compared. It is indicated that these new techniques need to be improved further and theories in relation with them need to be found.
