Research on the Relationship of Parenting Style and Personality of Adolescences

In the present study,250 junior middle school students of grade one and grade two were tested with EPQ and EMBU.The purpose was to explore the character of parenting style and its relationship with personality of adolescences.The result suggested that:(1)parenting style of adolescences have remarkable differences in gender;(2)parenting style of adolescences have remarkable differences on whether the one is the only child or not;(3)parenting style was significantly correlated with the personality traits of adolescences,and could significantly predicte individual's personality traits.
