Optimal Algorithm and System Realization of Broadband Raman Fiber Amplifier

Successive quadratic programming is adopted to optimize a gain flatness of backward-pumped Raman fiber amplifier.To simplify the operation process and reduce the computation time,pump wavelengths and residual powers can be optimized.On the basis of the calculated results,broadband FRA system with two pumps,three pumps and four pumps are realized.The theoretical calculation and experimental results are accordant,showing this optimal scheme has strong practicability.
