Measurement System using Fiber Delay Sampling

The configuration and principle of the system to measure the pulse width and the power time history of a multiplex beam laser are introduced,and the mathematic analyses of the probable nonlinear effect and pulse broadening are also given.Based on this system,an experiment is carried out.The results show that the broadening ratio of the pulse width measured by this system is less than 5% and the power time history looks perspicuously.Compared with the conventional measurement,the complexity and the cost of this system are reduced remarkably,so it is regarded as an economical and effective system to measure multiplex beam laser.
