Auto-coupling System for Single-mode Silica Optical Fiber with Polymer Optical Fiber

As a kind of ideal transmission medium in the short-distance communication network,polymer optical fiber(POF) has great foreground of development.But the connector between single-mode polymer fiber and other fiber has not been developed.The aim of research is to develop an auto-coupling system between single-mode polymer fiber and other fiber,in which PC control part analyzes and computes the feedback data from the optical power meter and collected image.In this way,two fibers can be accurately coupled automatically.The further research on single-mode polymer fiber and polymer fiber grating can be laid the foundation for the system realization.
