Aviation Springwire Socket Measurement System Based on Computer Vision

In order to increase the precision and efficiency of the inner diameter measurement for small springwire socket,a system based on computer vision is developed.The ring LEDs are used as the double sources in this photoelectricity system.A new image processing method is put forward to calculate the inner diameter.The software of the system is designed by VC++ 6.0 to complete the whole system.The experimental results show that the measuring error of this system is ±2mm in measurement range of 0.5~4mm.The system is characterized by easy operation and high speed measurement.
