Effects of Reflection Mirror's Surface Coarseness on Ring Focus Performance for Laser Propulsion

The ring focusing optical system was designed,also the effects of reflection mirror's surface coarseness were considered.Through "ray tracking method" the mathematic models of the ignition wire's shape,size and energy density were established.The results show that such a ring focusing system is of certain degree of roughness tolerance,and it is much better than spot focusing in the aspect of suffering reflection mirror's surface coarseness.
