Synthesis and Properties of(Co,Cu)-doped ZnO Thin Films by Sol-Gel Method

Co,Cu doped and(Co,Cu)co-doped ZnO thin films were fabricated on the glass substrate by means of sol-gel method.All the samples exhibit room-temperature ferromagnetism.The influence of Co and Cu doping on surface morphologies and crystal structures of ZnO films was investigated by atomic force microscope(AFM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results reveal that all the ZnO samples show preferential orientation along(002)direction and the grain size of Cu-doped ZnO film is the biggest among these samples.Strong blue double emission and weak green emission were observed in the photoluminescent spectrum of all samples at room temperature.
